Instead of favors ... how this noise?

I really do not want for my wedding. I think they're a bit stupid and a huge waste of money. I really like the idea of giving to charity instead of favors. So I thought it would be a charity and my boyfriend pick one. And at the reception, will give us all a gold medal and two boxes to settle somewhere with the names of each charity. So I'm customers can make their "rooms" whatever box they want to donate to charity. Next, the charity has the most wins of the parties and thats the love to give. Is this a good idea or think that our customers think we are fools?

Excellent idea! Except I think instead of choosing only one that could make proportionately. This So if the customer really cares about a particular organization, but not "win", its results still feel they have contributed to the organization.
